PLEASE LEAD US IN THE WAY OF PEACE (Ps)
Holy One, you have said, let him turn away from evil and do good, let him seek peace and pursue it. Please help us not to open a door where evil rules, give us wisdom, let us strive for truth, and not let the sun go down on our wrath. Let us be wise not to let any day end with strife, contention, or division in our hearts or between us and someone else. We desire to seek peace and to let it be established in us and our environment. Put the hand of the Holy Spirit upon us to set our minds on things of the Spirit and not on trouble in the world. Let our souls be established in righteousness, peace, and joy. We need this wisdom, for this is especially crucial in the current political and economic climate in our nation and around the world.
At any time we prepare our hearts for changes, both great and small, Lord. Give us discernment of spirit for the things that will only enhance our environment cosmetically, while other changes affect us spiritually in a profound way. Help us to be flexible and ready to embrace all that You have for us and to watch for seductions that would take us out of the flow of Your Spirit. Please lead us in the way of peace.
