EXHIBIT HONESTY AND INTEGRITY (Echo)
You must exhibit honesty and integrity in all you say and do. When you profess the saving grace of Christ and do not live up to the Gospel, you are not a credible witness. It is not enough to be a hearer of the word of truth; you must also be a doer, says the Lord.
Be grateful for the things that matter, and refuse to fuss about things of little or no consequence. This is a day in which you can go beyond flesh issues to actually excel spiritually. Leave the past behind and press toward the mark of your high calling in Jesus Christ.
PRAYER:
Lord, help us through the Holy Spirit to give the word our undivided attention, and also not to underestimate ourselves, and to make a calculation for there can only be one logical conclusion; our authentic origin is mirrored in the word. Let his voice make poetry of our life, Amen.
Jas 1:23 If you listen to the Word and don’t live out the message you hear, you become like the person who looks in the mirror of the Word to discover the reflection of his face in the beginning. Jas 1:24 You perceive how God sees you in the mirror of the Word, but then you go out and forget your divine origin. Jas 1:25 But those who set their gaze deeply into the perfecting law of liberty are fascinated by and respond to the truth they hear and are strengthened by it—they experience God’s blessing in all that they do!
