THE WONDERFUL ATRIBUTE OF LOVE – POWER (Sm)
Why are we taught that the fruit of the Spirit is love? Because the Spirit of God has come to make our daily life an exhibition of divine power and a revelation of what God can do for His children.
During the three years with Jesus, the disciples had never been in that Spirit. All Christ’s teaching could not make them of one heart and one soul. But the Holy Spirit came from heaven and shed the love of God in their hearts, and they were then of one heart and one soul.
PRAYER:
Lord, if we want to pray in power, help us to confirm with our hearts that we are indeed in covenant with the Father and that we will love one another with a heavenly love. Lord, our vow is absolute surrender to God and sincere in the divine love to fill us. Help us to be a servant of love, to love every child of God around me. Now, Lord, we ask that You baptize us with the Spirit of love. Amen.
Rom 1:20 Opposition to truth cannot be excused on the basis of ignorance, because from the creation of the world, the invisible qualities of God’s nature have been made visible, such as his eternal power and transcendence. He has made his wonderful attributes easily perceived, for seeing the visible makes us understand the invisible. So then, this leaves everyone without excuse.
