Solitaire: EARMARK FOR THE LORD (Lw)
ABANDONMENT is needed to make progress in knowing God, casting off all your cares, dropping all your needs, where you stand indifferent to yourself, leaving the future in His hands, the key to the inner court, to the fathomless depths.
Utterly abandon yourself to the Lord, by doing so, the Lord will give you revelation, and abandonment and revelation go hand in hand. The revelation you receive will come to you as reality rather than knowledge. In this reality, the heart indwells the place of abandonment to the Lord. It is also the Lord whom you will follow as the Way; it is this Lord that you will hear as the Truth, and it is from this Lord that you will receive Life. If you follow Him as the Way, you will hear Him as the Truth, and He will bring life to you as the Life.
Whenever you hear God’s voice most faintly, recklessly abandoned, you will only realize His voice more clearly by recklessly hearing and obeying.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, as You open up the Real Life to us, we receive this wonderful love life from You as the revelation comes to us, something happens; You make an imprint of Yourself upon our soul. We thank You that each time You come to us, You leave a new and different impression of Your sweet nature upon us. Help us to follow the road of abandonment for we are eager to receive special revelations with a thankful heart to follow in the depth of Christ. Thank You for sharing this wonderful diamond or other gemstone set apart for us.
Finally, my beloved ones, may the wonderful grace of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, flow in your spirit. So shall it be! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
